Hi,
There are a limited number of booklets on the big swap available free of charge at Mondomundi, St Martins,
Fair Trade Phil
Reminder there is a Big Swap Coffee Morning at Town Church from 10 till 12 tomorrow, Wednesday 24th Feb, with Fairtrade Stalls, and other fun stuff
Will try to get to town for Coffee Morning. I can’t find how to record our experiences re ‘Living on Fairtrade and Local Produce’.

So far, so good…despite the disappointing start at Les Cotils on Monday morning! Wonderful dinner with friends last night. Starter:
Mushrooms, onions and garlic in a crusty roll. Main: Local Pork and Roquette cider sausages (Forest Stores) Roasted Root Vegetables; and Brussel Sprouts: Local Cheeses: Dessert: Banana Split with Guernsey Banana and Chocolate Icecream, Guernsey Cream and Fairtrade Chocolate. Then FT Earl Grey tea. Super!!
Why is it that some establishments seem bent on offering only what they want (or don’t in the case of Fairtrade) and not what we, as paying customers, want?! “Power to the people” I say!
