The great strength of Fairtrade is ordinary people doing extraordinary things and by our efforts effecting significant change in the way the world works, for the betterment of Third World Producers and ourselves.

The Fairtrade Guernsey Steering Group was formed by volunteers with the aim of raising awareness of and support for Fairtrade in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. This focus will continue and is dependent on the support of so many people. More and more people are needed to grow the influence of Fairtrade and the main thrust is to see as much purchasing of Fairtrade products as possible in order that the benefits will accrue for Third World Producers.

Our individual purchasing of Fairtrade is easily done. But, the Steering Group is always in need of enthusiastic volunteers to help undertake the vital organising and monitoring of local activities and initiatives.
